In his work with ceramics, Arthur draws upon traditional Ukrainian ceramics of the 20th century, sourced from various regions of the country. He applies imagery to their surfaces through engraving—a gesture that borders on an act of intervention or even vandalism. This approach serves as a metaphor for the development of contemporary culture, which is built upon a foundation of historical heritage while maintaining an unbroken connection between the past and the present.
